This Privacy Policy explains how Bryan Calisto (the "Service Provider") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the Kitchen Notes mobile application (the "Application"), available on Android via Google Play.
By using the Application you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Application.

The Application does not collect precise geolocation data, payment card details (payments are handled entirely by Google Play), or any sensitive personal categories such as health or biometric data.
Your account information and user content are stored on Firebase / Google Cloud servers, operated by Google LLC. Firebase applies industry-standard security controls including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from within the Application, your personal information and synced content will be permanently removed from our servers. Crash report data is retained by Sentry for up to 90 days.

When you use the AI voice command feature, your spoken input is processed as follows:
Using the voice command feature requires an active internet connection and consumes purchased credits. If you prefer not to transmit any data to Google AI Studio, you may simply choose not to use this feature — all other functionality remains fully available without it.

The Application is intended for users aged 13 and older. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at kitchennotesapp@gmail.com and we will take prompt steps to delete that information.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to monitor their children's use of online services and to advise them never to share personal information without permission.
The Service Provider takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS) and secure cloud storage via Firebase. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your device and account credentials secure.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
